Earlier this spring, we announced that the boardgames were about to move to an outsourced warehouse. After many twists and turns, the move is finally on the horizon!
Delays in orders from 26.4.2021 to 2.5.2021
This week the board games are leaving for their new home. We, of course, hope the move goes as smoothly as possible - but we also understand that surprises and missteps happen despite intricate plans. We therefore ask our Porofriends for patience - orders placed this week may be slightly delayed, and there may be occasional oddities in the ordering system. However, this situation is temporary - starting next week, orders will be shipped again at the speed of light!
During the moving process, our stocks will briefly be set to “zero”. To make sure you don’t miss when your favourite games are available for purchase again, we suggest you go enable product alerts! Go on - we’ll wait.
Faster shipping times are coming
Starting next week, your games will arrive before you’ve even placed your order! Or almost, at least.
Although our warehouse crew is pure magic, our current order processing system unfortunately isn’t, and therefore delivery times have become unnecessarily long. Especially on release weekends, board game orders tend to get a little neglected. Fortunately, the new, outsourced warehouse fixes this! Our own warehouse crew will have time to focus on the card orders, and the outsourced warehouse can serve the board game customers well and quickly.
In addition, this means that card orders will also be processed and shipped faster in the future - hooray!
The new warehouse means faster shipping times. In bigger cities in Finland, Posti delivers on Saturdays (check the cities here). In smaller cities, orders placed on Friday will arrive on Monday.
Pickup orders will remain free of charge
Pickup orders can still be placed - and they will continue to be free of charge! However, it’s worth remembering that the board games have to travel across Finland to get to our store. Fortunately, the warehouse is quite close to the store, so you won’t have to wait for your games for days on end. We do want to remind you to come pick up your orders only after you’ve received notification that the order is ready to be picked up - otherwise the games won’t even have arrived at our store.

- The board games are moving to an outsourced warehouse

- The products that remain in our store in Pasila will be available for purchase in-store only
- Pickup from the store remains free
- Pickup orders can only be picked up after having received an email that the order is ready for pickup.

Why is the shopping cart no longer shared between your sites?
Our board game business is growing, and therefore they finally got their own site. They also moved to a separate warehouse. Naturally, we can't have a shared cart when the products themselves are located in different places. According to our data, the new system will benefit most of our customers, since the the shipping times are now considerably faster.
Why didn't I receive a product notification, even though the product is back in stock?
Due to the site update, product notifications arrive with a small (10 min) delay.
Why can't I find X product on one of your sites?
On the board game site, you can at this time find some basic board game accessories. The selection will expand with time, but for now, we've only added accessories commonly bought with board games. We always welcome product wishes! You can reach us at email@example.com.
