Pro Tour Shadows over Innistrad is currently underway (! The event starts with three rounds of draft as usual and after that it's time for the always intriguing Standard. I believe that we're going to see many Midrange and Control strategies this weekend that have so far been mostly absent from the format. Here's a list of cards that seem well positioned in the metagame going into the weekend:

1. Archangel Avacyn

2. Languish

3. Eldrazi Displacer

4. Linvala, the Preserver

5. Collected Company

6. Chandra, Flamecaller

7. Kozilek's Return

8. Tireless Tracker

9. Sorin, Grim Nemesis

10. Archangel of Tithes

We also have multiple Finns playing in this Pro Tour, a feat that we haven't seen in a good while. Qualified Finns are Lauri Pispa, Mikael Heikinheimo and Valtteri Saari, all playing in their first Pro Tour if I'm not mistaken. Congratulations to all of them for qualifying and best of luck! As an added bonus, World Magic Cup Captain slot is up for grabs and this event will determine who'll be the one leading Finland into the WMC this year. Heading into the tournament, Lauri Pispa is in the lead for the slot.

I hope everybody will have a blast this weekend watching the PT!
